GIGIZ StudioPrivacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GIGIZ Studio ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the GIGIZ Studio content scheduling and publishing service (the "Service"), including when you connect a TikTok account, a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: the content you upload or create in the Service (images, videos, captions, hashtags), your scheduling choices, and messages you send to our support address.
- Information from TikTok, with your permission: when you choose "Log in with TikTok", TikTok shares an account identifier (open_id), your display name and your avatar (scope
user.info.basic), and access and refresh tokens that let the Service upload and publish the content you scheduled (scopesvideo.uploadandvideo.publish). - Publishing records: for each post we keep the time it was sent, the result returned by TikTok (for example the publish ID and status) and any error message, so you can see what happened.
- Information from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), with your permission: when you connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account, Meta shares the Page ID and name, the Instagram account ID and username, and access tokens that let the Service publish the content you scheduled to that Page or account (permissions such as
pages_show_list,pages_read_engagement,pages_manage_posts,instagram_basicandinstagram_content_publish). We read your recent posts only to confirm that a scheduled post was published.
We do not collect your TikTok, Facebook or Instagram password, your direct messages, your followers list, or analytics about other people.
2. How we use information
- To show you which TikTok account a post will be published to.
- To upload and publish the content you approved, at the time you scheduled, with the privacy and interaction settings you chose.
- To show you the publishing status and help you fix problems.
- To keep the Service secure and to comply with the law.
We never publish content you did not approve, and we do not use your TikTok, Facebook or Instagram data for advertising or profiling.
3. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share content with TikTok, Facebook or Instagram only when you instruct the Service to publish it there. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
4. Storage and security
Access and refresh tokens are stored separately from content, are never shown in the Service's interface, and are used only to call the official TikTok and Meta APIs. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
5. Retention and deletion
- Tokens are kept while your TikTok account is connected. When you disconnect the account in the Service, or revoke access in TikTok (Settings and privacy, Security, Apps and services permissions), we stop using the tokens and delete them within 30 days.
- Meta tokens are kept while your Page or Instagram account is connected. If you remove the app in Facebook (Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites) or disconnect it in the Service, we stop using the tokens and delete them within 30 days. Full instructions: Data Deletion.
- Publishing records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
- You can ask us at any time to delete all information related to your account by writing to our support address. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify connected users.
